Description

Yenory Hernandez Garbanzo (Nutrition Specialist at FAO and Vice-president of the Society of Nutrition Education and Behaviour) explains the “why-what and how » of planning, designing or implementing a food and nutrition education strategy.

The 2  key questions addressed are :

- “are we adequately supporting consumers-with the proper skills and learning strategies to help them become food competent, proactive and reactive actors of the food system?...” actually, there is a need to consider a transformative vision and approach to food and nutrition education.

- “how do we turn all these needs but also opportunities into a memorable and actionable food and nutrition education experience?” four key ingredients are proposed
