Description

Virginie Duvat, a professor at La Rochelle University, looks at Nature-based Solutions (NbS) in this video. After having defined them in principle, she gives a few examples from France’s overseas territories. She then analyses, based on an evaluation grid, the strengths and weaknesses of the current projects.

Learning Objectives:

- Define what nature-based adaptation solutions are
- Have a multi-criteria approach to NbS projects
- Familiarise yourself with the main evaluation methods for climate change adaptation measures
- Identify the main levers to develop NbS projects.
