Sabine Barles, Professor of urban planning and development at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and researcher at the UMR Géographie-Cités, presents the nitrogen balance of the Paris conurbation by highlighting the flows in and out. She also provides an historical perspective of this nitrogen balance over the last 2 centuries.
