In this video (9'49), Jean Paul Vanderlinden, professor at the Université Paris Saclay and the Université de Versailles St Quentin en Yvelines, raises the question of the origin of the knowledge mobilised to deal with the disorders of the anthropocene. By drawing on the concepts of coloniality, epistemology of the South and epistemic injustice, we can think of an alternative knowledge base that complements the Western sciences.
